A new chapter for YouVisible: all your sport, connected in one place

YouVisible is entering a new chapter. The platform began with a strong focus on athlete visibility and scouting, and those possibilities remain part of the ecosystem. Today, however, it serves a much broader purpose: helping anyone record sport, preserve what happened around it, add personal context and build a sports history that can stay private or be shared selectively.

You do not need to be a professional, compete every weekend or own a sports watch. You can track a run with GPS, save a match without a route, record a gym session, collect photos from a family hike or manage separate profiles for your children. The aim is to stop meaningful parts of sport from becoming scattered across devices, galleries and unrelated apps.

What has changed

The starting point is no longer simply “show your talent”. It is live, record and preserve your sport with context. An activity may contain a route and metrics, but it can also hold a cover, photos, videos, moments, notes and how the experience felt.

The current platform brings together needs that are often split between tools:

  • activities with or without GPS;
  • direct recording without requiring a watch;
  • compatible sources and FIT, GPX or TCX imports;
  • photos, videos and moments attached to the relevant activity;
  • post-activity feelings and daily wellbeing check-ins;
  • activity and wellbeing in one calendar;
  • personal fasting-period tracking, without medical claims;
  • private records and control over sharing;
  • independent sports profiles under one account;
  • optional community participation and professional visibility.

Scouting has not disappeared. It is now one optional destination for a sports history that belongs to the athlete first.

A platform for living sport, not only displaying it

Most sport happens away from professional selection: a Tuesday workout, a social match, a class, a mountain day or the first swim after a break. Those experiences remain valuable even if they are never published.

You can use YouVisible as a private record, share one activity with the community, or gradually build a public sports presence. There is no requirement to turn every session into social content. Explore the complete athlete and family experience, read how to create an organized sports history, or discover the thinking behind multisport storage.

GPS and non-GPS activities

A map matters in running, cycling or hiking. It is less useful for football, martial arts, strength training, swimming or padel. YouVisible supports both realities.

When recording directly, you can pause, resume and finish the activity. You can also connect a compatible source. On Android, supported data may arrive through Health Connect; on iPhone, through Apple Health. Existing activities can be imported as FIT, GPX or TCX files.

Polar Flow and Huawei Health are the direct connections currently confirmed by the platform. Other brands may provide data through Health Connect or Apple Health when their own support and the user's permissions allow it. Garmin is not described as a direct YouVisible connection.

Our practical guide explains how to record sport with or without GPS.

Workouts, matches, routes and sessions

A multisport platform should adapt to each discipline. A cycling route can preserve its track and time. A football match may need a result, notes and video. A gym session can be represented by duration, work completed and feelings. A martial arts class may be best remembered through a technical note and a private clip.

Bringing them into the same timeline makes the calendar more than a mileage log. It becomes a record of what you did, how you experienced it and which memories belonged to that day.

Photos, videos and moments stay with the activity

A phone gallery stores files but rarely explains them. Months later, an image may have lost its sporting date, purpose or link to a particular session.

An activity provides that missing context. Add a cover, photos, videos and moments to preserve the surface, atmosphere, technique, celebration or family memory that numbers cannot capture. When you return to the activity, those elements remain connected.

If your files are already dispersed, learn how to gather sports history from phones, WhatsApp, Drive and sports apps.

Wellbeing adds the human layer

Two sessions with equal duration can feel completely different. After finishing, you can record how the activity went and how you felt. On a rest day, a daily check-in can preserve the wider context. Both activity and wellbeing can be reviewed in the calendar.

These entries organize personal information; they do not diagnose a condition. Our guide to sports wellbeing with context explains the distinction.

Privacy, family profiles and optional visibility

Saving does not mean publishing. Activities, media and personal records can remain private, while you decide what—if anything—to share. This distinction matters particularly for family memories and minors.

One account can manage multiple independent sports profiles. Each person keeps separate activities, moments, wellbeing and content. A parent's cycling route does not become mixed with one child's football season or another child's swimming sessions.

Community and visibility remain available when useful. You might share a route, an achievement or an insight, while keeping the rest private. Athletes who want professional opportunities can build visibility from a fuller history rather than isolated highlights.

Nine everyday examples

Running and cycling

Record with GPS, pause during an unrelated stop and add a finish photo. For cycling, keep the track alongside road conditions, scenery and notes. A synchronized or imported activity can be enriched in the same way.

Football and team sports

Save training or a match without GPS. Add the result, clips, photos and how it felt, while controlling who can see it.

Gym and padel

Record a timed, non-route session at the gym, perhaps with a technical video. For padel, store the match, duration, participants and a memorable point without needing a watch.

Swimming and martial arts

Pool sessions still count without a GPS track. A martial arts class or competition can combine the activity with technical moments and a post-session reflection.

Hiking and mountain sport

Record with GPS or import a GPX. Keep weather, surface, stops and photos beside the route so the day is not reduced to distance.

Parents preserving children's development

Use a separate profile for each athlete and collect activities, competitions and memories season by season. Nothing needs to be public for that history to matter.

Frequently asked questions

Does YouVisible still include community, visibility and scouting?

Yes. They remain part of the ecosystem, but they are optional and no longer define the platform's only purpose. You can record and preserve sport without seeking professional visibility.

Do I need a watch or GPS?

No. Record directly with or without GPS. Compatible sources and file imports are additional routes, not requirements.

Is everything I save shared?

No. Activities, memories and personal records can remain private. You decide what to share.

Can one account cover family sport?

Yes. Multiple independent sports profiles keep each person's activities and content separate.

Are Guides, Programs and Academy available?

Guides are now available. You can save a compatible sports post, find it in Saved and use it as a starting point to prepare your own activity. Saving does not create an activity or generate sports statistics; that happens when you choose to prepare your activity from the Guide. The original author's GPS route is not copied. Programs and Academy remain in development.

How to start for free

  1. Create an account and your first sports profile.
  2. Choose one recent activity.
  3. Record it, connect a supported source or import a file.
  4. Add a cover, photos, videos or moments.
  5. Save how it went and how you felt.
  6. Keep it private or share only what makes sense.
  7. Add separate profiles if you manage your children's sport.

Start from the YouVisible home page. The core sports experience can be used for free, and the app is available on Google Play for Android and the App Store for iPhone.

A sports history that grows with you

This new chapter is not about adding noise. It connects activity, memories, wellbeing, family, privacy and community. Scouting and professional visibility still have a place, but they no longer define who the platform is for.

Start with one real activity, give it the context it deserves and let each session become part of a sports history you can revisit.
