Community Rules
Behaviour, moderation and acceptable use of YouVisible
These Rules govern acceptable behaviour on YouVisible, content management and the relationship between users, vendors and the platform. They aim to protect rights, safety and service integrity. They apply together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Moderation Transparency policy.
Scope and acceptance
These Rules cover all activity on the platform: profiles, videos, images, comments, messages, reviews and marketplace.
By using YouVisible, you agree to comply with them. Breaches may lead to educational notices, content removal, feature limits, suspension or account closure.
Prohibited conduct and content
- Violence, hate and harassment: hate speech, threats, harassment, incitement to violence or discrimination on protected grounds.
- Enhanced protection of minors:
- Any sexualised content involving minors is strictly prohibited.
- Inappropriate contact, requests for personal data, images or materials from minors are forbidden.
- Only individuals over 18 may manage accounts and publish content featuring minors.
- Anyone publishing content featuring minors declares they hold legal guardianship or explicit, verifiable authorisation.
- YouVisible may remove such content preventively and suspend accounts where necessary.
- Sexual content / nudity: sexually explicit content or content contrary to local law or age/consent rules.
- IP and image rights: do not publish copyrighted material, trademarks or image of third parties without proper authorisation.
- Doxxing and privacy: no disclosure of other people’s personal data without a lawful basis.
- Fraud, spam and manipulation: scams, impersonation, deceptive schemes, account trading, unauthorised bots or mass spam.
- Malware and security abuse: malicious links, social engineering, attempts to hack or bypass technical protections.
- Harmful health/physical risk content: content promoting dangerous practices, violent challenges or self-harm.
- Locally illegal content: respect local laws and geographic restrictions where required.
- Impersonation: you may not pose as another person or organisation. Parody/fan accounts must be clearly labelled.
Content allowed with restrictions
- Sports injuries and medical material: allowed with an informative focus and without unnecessary graphic detail.
- Intense competition and strong language not directed at a person: allowed in sports context, avoiding direct personal insults.
- Music and third-party material in videos: you must hold valid licences or use royalty-free content.
Interaction rules
- Respect: strong sports debate is fine, personal attacks and insults are not.
- Messaging: do not send spam, harassment or inappropriate requests. Additional limits may apply to minor accounts.
- Reviews: must be honest and based on real experiences; fake or traded reviews are not allowed.
Marketplace and vendors
- Quality and accuracy: describe services clearly (price, conditions, credentials, limits).
- Banned offers: illegal services, doping, unauthorised diagnosis/prescription and data selling.
- Verification (KYC/KYB): identity or business verification may be required before enabling sales or advanced features.
Moderation and processes
We combine human moderation and automated tools to detect violations:
- Automated systems to flag and prioritise potential risks.
- Human review for sensitive cases, appeals and edge situations.
- Logged records of reason, measure and date for each decision.
- Recurrence policy with “strikes” and proportional sanctions.
Reports and cooperation
If you see content or behaviour that may breach these Rules or the law:
- Use the support channel or contact form.
- Provide the URL, description and, where possible, screenshots or other relevant details.
Sanctions and restoration
Measures may include:
- Removal or limited distribution of content.
- Temporary limits on comments, uploads or messaging.
- Temporary suspension or permanent account closure.
If, after an appeal, we confirm an error, we will try to restore the affected content or account where possible.
Safety and user protection
- Anti-abuse systems, rate limits and technical validations.
- Strengthened visibility and messaging controls for minor accounts.
- Cooperation with competent authorities under valid requests, limiting disclosure to what is strictly necessary.
Freedom of expression and limits
We aim to balance freedom of expression with user protection.
In case of conflict, applicable law prevails (especially regarding child protection and hate crime).
